Miller’s Wood Role Play Village is an outdoor, life like village on a small scale, designed to ignite your children’s imagination. Each area has been created to encourage purposeful play. Children can explore and discover different role play situations based on their own firsthand experiences, helping them to make sense of the world.

Each house has its own theme and is filled with realistic props and curious objects which will help children to develop collaboration, creativity and imagination.

Why Outdoors?

At Miller’s Wood Play Village children can connect with the natural world and gain experiences that are unique to outdoors, such as direct contact with the weather and the seasons.  Playing outside also helps children to understand and respect nature, the environment and the interdependence of humans, animals and plants. Many studies have shown spending time outdoors, especially in green spaces, is one of the fastest ways to improve your health and happiness. Being outside has been linked to an increased sense of calm, improving mood and mental health, while encouraging physical activity.
